British rockers Beth Blade & The Beautiful Disasters have released a video for their latest single; ‘You Only Love Me When You’re Drunk’, which released on July 24th. It’s the follow up to their previous effort, ‘Never Let It Go’, which released on May 1st. The tracks mark the band’s latest material since their 2022 album “Mythos, Confession, Tragedies and Love”, and will act as a precursor to their upcoming new album, set for release on September 12th!
Speaking about the band’s new material, Blade said:
“It’s been a long time coming. Our new album is finally seeing the light of day on September 12th, and we are so excited to share it with you and whilst I can’t yet divulge too much, there is laughter, unadulterated fun, rock and roll spirit and a vintage flair that never goes out of style. There’s also pain, fear, vulnerability and depths so dark they may make old wounds ache. More to come on that…”
| Speaking about the single, she further stated: “We’ve all been there, right? Making an absolute fool of yourself for someone who messes with your head and puts in the minimum amount of effort until they want something from you? Sometimes songs have grand explanations and sometimes the meaning is simple. This one’s for anyone who’s been treated like dirt but kept going back because the highs and lows became like an addiction and you couldn’t stop yourself wanting more”. Since bursting onto the scene, Blade and her disasters have built a reputation for monster riffs, huge choruses and a dose of old school rock and roll attitude. With aggressive muscle and melodic sensitivity, they have an unmistakable modern presence whilst keeping the spirit of old school rock and roll alive. |
