Cornish alt.rockers HANTERHIR return this week with a brand new single and video.

The band made waves three years ago with the release of their mammoth trip of a triple-album The Saving Of Cadan.

All that work seemed to be paying off with their headlining slot at London’s Kernow In The City event in March 2020 but Covid put paid to further plans.

Signing off with the Record Store Day single ‘Schizophrenia’ featuring covers of Sonic Youth and David Bowie, the band retreated to their Redruth bolthole to work on their next album. That record is now finally scheduled for release in Spring ’22.

Before that, though, having resurfaced with a performance at Hawkwind’s Hawkfest in August, they’re now putting a toe in the water with the non-album single and video ‘Waiting For Bertie’.

Set for release on Friday 19 November through Easy Action, ‘Waiting For Bertie’ will be available through Apple, Spotify and all the usual digital platforms.
