Fast rising Doom metal crew, THE RHUBARB, have released a spanking new lyric video, Drag Me To Hell, out now – . The northern sludgers have plucked the single from their recently released EP, Black Sun.

Glaswegian stoner metal crew, THE RHUBARB, have been smithing smoked out riffs, and trance inducing rhythms since forming at college in 2015. Ever since then, the Scot quartet have graced the stages with everyone from Black Moth, Lord Dying, Mantis Toboggan, Skandal, and Juniper Grave, to Strauss, and have shaken the walls of such venues as King Tuts Wah Wah Hut, Nice ‘N’ Sleazy, The Garage, and G2. Taking influence from Black Sabbath, Sleep, High on FireElectric Wizard and Hawkwind, THE RHUBARB have won over audiences for their intriguing combination of male and female driven vocals, laced with intoxicating fuzzed-up riffs, and unique psychedelic framing that creates a new spin on the genre.

Besides racking up much acclaim for their live shows, the sturdy stoners have also picked up support for their recorded work. This year’s, Black Sun EP, immediately gained praise from the underground with a slew of radio stations playing tracks from the record. The release also attracted the attention of Reaction Management, who swiftly signed the band to their roster.
The alluring burly metallers have now dropped a fascinating lyric video for Drag Me To Hell. The track is a powerful dynamic declaration which spits out fuzzed laden drone riffs, pounding rhythms, and echoing harmonies. With a lyrical focus on the severity of eating disorders, as well as the mental health effects caused by such illnesses, the band are never ones to shy away from potent topics. With further releases in the works, along with touring plans, you can be sure that THE RHUBARB will vastly spread their flavor of stoner doom across the land.   ||
