Druidess is a 4 piece heavy psych / stoner band from Newcastle upon Tyne. Combining Black Sabbath styled riffs with powerful female vocals and driving keyboard textures.
Conceived in 2022 by Daniel Downing (Aloeswood, ex-Ravenage) & Shonagh Brown (ex-Juniper Grave) the project has now evolved into a supergroup of local names with the addition of James Hill (Kylver) and Sam Armstrong (Shan).
The band has now released their debut EP ‘Hermits & Mandrakes’ and has started to perform live, with gigs alongside Eyehategod, Saint Karloff and Margarita Witch Cult.
Writing for the debut full length album has already begun with an expected release date of Summer 2025.
