Mexico’s Premiere Indie Rock Collective DESCARTES A KANT Announce the Release Of Their Retro Futuristic Masterpiece AFTER DESTRUCTION, Share Title Track & Video!

Los Angeles, CA – Hello User, welcome to the world of The DAK, the computer processing unit at the center of a sprawling new concept album by one of the most exciting and compelling indie post-punk bands in the western hemisphere, Descartes A Kant! Following up on the band’s 2017 twisted romance album Victims Of Love Propaganda, the subversively creative quartet return with a disturbing glimpse into a retro-futuristic virtual reality where humans rely on The DAK and its pre-programmed “Enlightenment Bubbles” to make their lives meaningful.

Today, the band proudly shares the first of the album’s singles, the incredible title track “After Destruction.” Musically, “After Destruction” strips the band down to a pulverizing primal groove while slowly adding flourishes of vintage keyboards and heavily treated fuzzed-out guitar solos before exploding in a fury of noisey punk armageddon. It’s a twisty-turny journey that only Descartes A Kant can pull off with such manic energy and bravado while still holding the listener rapt. And just when you think the band has spent all its creativity on the music, you watch the video and realize that these artists have way more tricks up their space jumpsuit sleeves than you can imagine!
