Just don’t accuse them of being Nazi sympathisers

Canadian Black Metal infidels Avitas return with the brand new full-length album “Pioneers.” The follow-up to the breakthrough 2014 album “Northern Ghosts”, featuring over 45 minutes of occult influenced raw Pagan Black Metal.  Acoustic flashes and psychedelic touches compliment the pure esoteric black metal in this homage to the Norwegian settlers of North America. Avitas shows plenty of dynamics and breadth of songwriting here, resulting in a unique and creative sound.
Pioneer will be available on Bandcamp, Jan 19, 2016, and all other digital platforms Feb 16, 2016. The CD version (distributed via Bandcamp and PHD) will be out March 4, 2016.

But as maninman Myrtroen tells us: “some people have assumed because I used the word “Aryan” in the song title “Magickal Rites of the Ancient Aryan Tomes” that Avitas is Nazi Black Metal, which is not the case.  The “Aryan” refers to the ancient Himalayan/Vedic sagas as researched by Madame Blavatsky and the Theosophic movement at the turn of the 20th Century, this might be a good point to bring up in the promotion.  Avitas is certainly Anti-Abrhamic faiths, but not a genocidal Hitler worshiping vapid black metal entity.”
