New album ‘Ideal World’ due for release November 6th via Venn Records – pre-order HERE
Back with another tantalising glimpse of their forthcoming album ‘Ideal World’, due November 6th via Venn Records, Manchester power-trio Aerial Salad return with new single ‘Survive If I Let Ye’. A scathing criticism of a specific character type seen across England, the enraged song sneers at the “live, laugh, love,” Peaky Blinders-loving, plush grey velvet-owning, steroid-infused right-wing knuckleheads that pollute our air.
“The UK is facing a growing disparity among its people.” states vocalist and guitarist Jamie Munro. “Driven by looksmaxxing, right-wing manosphere content, this new baseline “NPC” male now roams our streets, filled with misguided anger and fuelled by online fake news. The story of the song draws on an actual conversation that took place around a kitchen table at 5:00 AM, where the main character describes how much they want someone to break into their house just so they can beat the life out of them and expel this built-up rage. The song is told from the perspective of the storyteller.”

Were Aerial Salad’s third album ‘Ideal World’ simply a tune-smothered, hook-laden blast of punk-rock energy, it would still be one of the finest records you’ll hear all year. Crack open its sugary carapace and plug into the lyrics, however, and you’ll connect with a voice that’s taking in all the division and misinformation and negativity of life in 2026 and seeing through the social media-derived skull game, a band whose own lust for life and canny intelligence suggest an alternative to the herdlike behaviour of our current dystopia. We’re stuck in a nightmare and Aerial Salad offer a way out, by example.
Aerial Salad are:
Jamie Munro – vocals/guitar
Mike ‘Wimbo’ Wimbleton – vocals/bass
