Deathsters reveal new song via Bloody Disgusting

Arizona death metal newcomers GATECREEPER have premiered a new music video for the song “Desperation” from their forthcoming debut album Sonoran Depravation. The clip has premiered via Bloody Disgusting and can be viewed HERE.

The band commented on the music video: “We chose a robbery-gone-wrong scenario, focusing on the bloody aftermath and suspenseful get-away rather than the initial violence. The performance footage was filmed with a single camera in hopes of capturing the energy and intensity of our live shows to match the main character’s desperation as he tries to escape the horror he has created. In the end, the worlds collide leaving the viewer questioning what was real and what was a hallucination.”

Having devastated the underground since their formation less than three years ago,GATECREEPER now unleash their first full-length, produced by Ryan Bram at Homewrecker Studios and mixed by Kurt Ballou (Converge, Nails, Black Breath) at God City Studios. Sonoran Depravation tears and chugs through 30+ minutes of crusty, doom-soaked death metal at its most infectious and uncompromising with a massive sound that calls to mind the classic Swedish buzz-saw attack of Dismember and Grave mixed with the impeccable groove of Obituary and Bolt Thrower. The album’s lead track “Craving Flesh” can be heard now at this location or below.

Sonoran Depravation is set for an October 7th release via Relapse Records and can be pre-ordered on physical and digital formats here.

GATECREEPER recently announced a full US tour in support of Skeletonwitch and label-mates Iron Reagan, which will kick-off September 29th in Atlanta, GA. Additional support will come from Oathbreaker. Stay tuned for more news and tour dates from GATECREEPER.
