Sold out shows and celebrity fans with East Midlanders

Critically lauded British rockers The Struts – who were recently nominated by Kerrang! as Best British Newcomers at the 2016 Kerrang Awards – have completely sold out their upcoming UK July dates.

The UK run will see the band showcase their much talked about live show, performing their arena-ready rock ‘n roll anthems, including latest single ‘Kiss This’, which is sparking into life on the UK airwaves with its recent addition to the Kerrang Radio B-list alongside XS Manchester, with more playlists to come.

The shows include London’s Dingwalls, as well as hometown shows in both Bristol and Derby, where The Struts collectively originate from. The run will end in Scotland where they’ll be appearing at this year’s T In The Park Festival alongside the likes of The Stone Roses, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The 1975 and many more.

UK TOUR DATES
July 5th – London, Dingwalls
July 6th – Bristol, Thekla
July 7th – Derby, The Venue
July 9th – Perthshire, T In The Park Festival

The Struts are a must-see experience. A riotously exciting live band, full of vaudevillian onstage theatrics and peerless musicianship, they have built up a fervent British fanbase alongside their new-found American fame through non-stop touring and support slots with the likes of The Rolling Stones and Mötley Crüe.

Having sold out their last raucous UK performance at London’s 100 Club in November in just five minutes, the band have spent the past six months touring the USA where they have had two Top 5 radio hits and sold out headline shows across the whole country. They have also performed on the main stages at major US festivals such as Lollapalooza, Firefly and Bottle Rock.

The Struts recently put in a glorious performance of ‘Kiss This’ on the Steven Colbert TV show. In keeping with the band’s penchant for picking up rockstar fans, singer Luke Spiller and guitarist Adam Slack were recently invited on stage perform Queen songs with Chad Smith from the Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Taylor Hawkins of The Foo Fighters.

Everybody Wants, the debut album from The Struts, is out now on Polydor/Interscope Records. The album has already received critical acclaim from the likes of Kerrang, Classic Rock, Daily Star, The Sun and many more whilst the band are fast-becoming showbiz favourites due to the burgeoning romance between bassist Jed Elliot and Little Mix star Jade Thirlwall.
