Breakthrough vocalist and songwriter Emily Ann Roberts is stepping into her next chapter with Thread: a five-song EP that finds a new kind of magic in the timeless sounds and storytelling heritage she’s treasured all her life. Pre-save/pre-add the project, releasing October 16, here.
From the opening title track to quietly devastating closer ‘Laundry’, Thread beams with Roberts’ radiant spirit and effortless charm as she reaches a whole new level of emotional complexity. As a co-writer on every track, Roberts weaves dynamic and deeply emotional stories that honor her Appalachian influences and are even more dazzling set against the bluegrass-tinged instrumentation and time-honored musical traditions Roberts has embraced since childhood.
Roberts recently celebrated her first ever CMA Award nomination, up for New Artist of the Year at the 60th annual ceremony. The new honor underscores a whirlwind year of accolades, including a nomination for ACM New Female Artist of the Year, inclusion in MusicRow Next Big Thing and Opry NextStage classes of 2026, a performance on the VIP Platform stage at Nissan Stadium during CMA Fest, being named AIMP Nashville Rising Artist-Writer of the Year and MusicRow’s Discovery Artist of the Year, and more.
The firecracker talent has spent most of 2026 splitting time between supporting superstars including Cody Johnson and Thomas Rhett while also headlining sold-out shows across the US and hitting high-profile festivals.
Roberts is now continuing to build her international profile, having made her UK debut at C2C 2026 earlier this year on the Spotlight Stage. She was described as having “won the festival” by Country In The UK, while Holler hailed her as the “future of the festival“. She returns to the UK and Ireland this month to join Cody Johnson on his arena tour with stops in London, Manchester, Birmingham and Glasgow before continuing on to Belfast and Dublin. Dates below.
2026 UK TOUR DATES:
October 27 – London – The O2*
