Icelandic stoner rock outfit Volcanova are back with the first new music since their 2020 praised debut album “Radical Waves”. The band launches the track “No Wheels” on November 5. A super-groovy fuzz-rock explosion, featuring Volcanova’s characteristic three layer vocal harmonies, thick riffing, and spaced out lyrics. The new single is the first taste of the power-trio’s upcoming EP “Cosmic Bullshit”, to be released in 2022. Besides the new single, the band is also announcing an 18 date European tour, supporting The Vintage Caravan. Dates below.

Volcanova’s drummer Dagur Atlason on “No Wheels”: “Doesn’t it feel good to cruise around and be free? Whether your ride is a crusty old camper van, an electric scooter or a skateboard, just you and the open road. But what if you didn’t have to depend on roads? What if your ride could take off, to anywhere you want? Because in this case, our ride has no wheels. Hoverboarding into outer space with nothing left to lose and only the groove as your sidekick”
“No Wheels” is out now on all streaming platforms via The Sign Records.
